Katapult
Katapult provides lease-to-own payments for eligible purchases, allowing customers to apply, shop in its app, and select Katapult at checkout. Shoppers can also use it at participating stores and retailer websites. Katapult says applications do not affect credit scores, describes the service as requiring no credit, and uses a real-time approval process that considers factors beyond scores. During a lease, customers may continue scheduled payments, use an available early purchase option, or return merchandise under their agreement. Purchase can be available within three months, later in the lease, or at the term’s end. Repayments may be weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly, and Katapult says it adds no late or insufficient-funds fees. Retailers receive upfront payment and can connect through Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, JavaScript, direct API, or in-store checkout. Merchant tools include a dashboard, sandbox and live API environments, next-day settlement, and assigned integration staff. The service is listed for 46 US states and the District of Columbia, excluding Minnesota, New Jersey, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. Pricing is on request.
