In their own words

MailArchiva

MailArchiva is an email archiving service for organizations that need e-discovery, forensic investigation and compliance capabilities. It can search email and attachment contents, produce reports, bulk-export archive data, restore messages to mailboxes and export search results to CSV. Retention policies, legal holds, audit trails and tamper-proof archive data support governance. MailArchiva Cloud lists compatibility with Office 365, Google Workspace, Microsoft Exchange, Zimbra, Kerio Connect, SmarterMail, MDaemon and IBM Lotus Domino. The service runs on Linux and Windows and is also listed for web, API and self-hosted use. Cloud archives can be hosted in California or Amsterdam; the listed hosting certifications differ by region. Cloud storage includes three-way redundancy and ten years of archiving from service commencement, with a 99.95% uptime SLA advertised. A free plan and 30-day trial are listed. Cloud trial users cannot import historical data, and trial data is erased unless a subscription order arrives before the trial ends.

Zoho eProtect

Zoho eProtect is a web-based cloud gateway for organizations using Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Amazon WorkMail, on-premise Exchange, or other email providers. It filters inbound and outbound messages for spam, viruses, phishing, ransomware, business email compromise, spoofing, attachment, URL, identity, and zero-day threats. Deployment can use API synchronization, MX changes, or journaling. The service adds email archiving, configurable retention, eDiscovery search, legal holds, and export to ZIP or PST, with EML download available from search. Administrators can manage groups and departments, filtering policies, quarantine controls, notifications, and user access. Audit logs record actions and account details. Zoho states that stored email uses AES encryption at rest and processed email uses TLS in transit, with two-factor authentication and secured data centers also listed. Support engineers are available around the clock. Pricing is on request. Zoho Mail users do not need eProtect because those protections and archival features are built in.
