In their own words
MassageBook
MassageBook is cloud-based practice software for massage businesses, covering online booking, scheduling, marketing, memberships, SOAP notes, payments, and client records. Clients can book appointments online, while scheduling tools aim to reduce double bookings. Records can include contact details, appointment history, messages, SOAP notes, intake forms, and accounting information. Customizable digital intake forms are completed online, and therapists can review their history in the mobile app. MassageBook Manager runs on iOS and Android for scheduling, notes, forms, and checkout, with web access also available. Card payments work through Stripe or Square, with a stated fee of 2.6% + $0.15 per card-present transaction. Integrations include Facebook, Instagram, Reserve with Google, external website scheduling, Square, and MassageBook Pay using Stripe. The company says integrations sync basic contact information, not sensitive medical data or SOAP notes. MassageBook states HIPAA compliance, encryption for forms and notes, and note modification histories. Plans listed are Transition at $15.00 per month, Practice at $44.25 per month, and Clinic at $74.25 per month; pricing information also says from $59/mo with a 30-day trial.
Stillpoint
Stillpoint is web-based practice management software for wellness practitioners, including massage therapists. Its tools cover scheduling, payments, clinical notes, invoicing, insurance billing, analytics, hosted websites, client portals, and appointment notifications. Clients can browse services, select a practitioner and time, and book without creating an account. Practitioners can import client and appointment history from supported platforms or CSV exports, with duplicate detection. Clio, an AI practice assistant, can help with scheduling, practice questions, booking appointments, and creating client records. Stillpoint also supports two-way Google Calendar sync and webhooks for Zapier, Make, or custom endpoints. The massage therapist page states HIPAA and PIPEDA compliance, with a BAA available on paid plans. Stillpoint says clinical data is encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS, and that it does not sell client data. Its privacy policy says Clio conversations are not used to train models and that Clio cannot access clinical notes, session content, or intake responses. The free plan is limited to one practitioner, two services, and eight appointments per month; Just Me costs $19.99 a month, billed month to month.
