Newforma ConstructEx
Newforma ConstructEx is cloud-hosted construction management software for project administration and information sharing. Contractors, subcontractors, and design or review teams can create, send, and track submittals and RFIs through workflows with email notifications. The system centralizes design, bid, and construction document packages, drawings, and specifications, with user roles and document permissions controlling access. Teams can review comments, audit trails, and email history together, download submittals and RFIs in bulk, and receive a project archive when work ends. Mobile apps support field reports, plans, markups, and punch list items; punch list data synchronizes when an internet connection is available. Meeting Minutes and Message Forums organize agendas, minutes, and discussions. Workflow Connector synchronizes RFIs and submittals with Newforma Project Center. ConstructEx runs on Android, iOS, and the web, and lists scheduling, field reporting, bid management, and project financials. Newforma was founded in 2004. Projectmates is construction project management software for owners and capital program leaders. Its modules cover capital and asset planning, bids, construction, costs, documents, risk, schedules, analytics and reporting. It manages workflows including RFIs, submittals, change orders, daily field reports and punch lists. Cost tools cover budgets, bids, contracts, change orders, pay applications and invoices. Teams can use more than 100 pre-built reports or create custom reports with drag-and-drop tools. Integrations include Box and Dropbox, with business-intelligence connections for Microsoft Power BI and Tableau; optional add-ons include an API and connectors for PlanGrid and Procore. The service is hosted on Microsoft Azure and offers a dedicated private cloud with a dedicated database. Projectmates states SOC 2 Type II compliance and TX-RAMP Level 2 certification, and describes disaster-recovery protocols and active geo-replication.
