In their own words
Neyodesk
Neyodesk brings service tickets, technician coordination, billing, inventory, and customer updates into a workspace for repair and service businesses. Its workflow runs from intake through service and delivery; tickets and barcodes can be generated at intake, and device records can include serial numbers, specifications, pre-checks, and diagnostic images. Teams can assign technicians, set service status and priority, manage branches, record attendance and check-ins, and track GPS locations. Customer communications include WhatsApp and email updates, diagnostic estimates, approval requests, pickup alerts, and automated replies about service status. Reports cover shop margins, tax allocations, and technician output, with spreadsheet reporting. Neyodesk says it supports 85 service categories, including mobile and computer repair, automotive, HVAC, and pest control. Web access is accompanied by Android and iOS apps for ticket updates, technician assignments, barcode printing, and business analytics. Monthly billing is ₹499 a month; yearly billing is ₹4,999 a year. A 21-day trial is available, but there is no free plan. Each branch is limited to 100 new repair tickets per rolling 24-hour period, and each workspace has 2 GB of shared storage.
Uptick
Uptick is an operating system for fire and security businesses, bringing quotes, scheduling, reports, and invoices into one product. It is aimed especially at fire inspection, testing, and maintenance teams with 3–50 field technicians. Technicians can complete digital inspection forms based on local standards, using hundreds of templates or adapting forms for customer and site needs. Scheduling includes recurring inspections and an AI Scheduler that assigns technicians and tasks in one click. Other features cover asset lists, deficiencies and sales quotes, billing, inventory, timesheets, installation projects, a customer portal, and reporting. The product includes a technician mobile app and offline mode. Listed integrations include Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, MYOB, Joyfill, Honeywell, Locatrix, and The Compliance Engine; field and office transactions integrate directly with Xero, QuickBooks, and MYOB. Uptick says most companies can get started within two months and that served regions have local support. Pricing is available on request; the plan is invoiced monthly and can be canceled at any time. The maker says it may not suit one-person handyman businesses or buyers needing enterprise-level asset-management complexity.
