In their own words
OnPolicy
OnPolicy is web-based document-control software for small-to-medium businesses. It moves documents through draft, review, approval, and release stages while preserving revision history and an audit trail of who revises, approves, and releases them. Administrators can require users to read documents or updates, restrict access to all documents or selected departments, and print reports on required reading, document use, and stalled workflows. Text search and dynamic links to related documents help users locate material. OnPolicy says documents can be controlled to conform to standards including ISO, SOX, HIPAA, JCAHO, IATF, AS, FDA, or GMP. Released documents can be pushed to SharePoint, an intranet, or another local server. The online service requires no installation or management and is accessible wherever there is an internet connection. Its product page describes audit trails on a secure, backed-up SSAE 16 server. OnPolicy recommends its Windows client because some third-party browsers are dropping Java support. The annual plan costs $990 a year, and a 30-day trial is available.
