In their own words
Perfect HOA
Perfect HOA is a cloud-based management platform for homeowners associations, boards, property managers, and communities. Its accounting tools sync bank and credit card transactions, categorize expenses, and provide budgets and financial reports. Users can issue invoices, set recurring invoices, accept online payments, track payments, and send automated reminders. For community operations, the platform records violations with photos and documents, issues notices, and tracks resolution. A communications center handles email, text messages, and physical letters, with delivery and engagement tracking. HOAs can create mobile-responsive websites with a secure resident portal and use a custom domain or provided subdomain. Documents can be linked to units or associations and shared through links that expire after 24 hours. Voting supports anonymous or trackable options, real-time results, and report exports. Perfect HOA runs on Android, iOS, and web. The listed 0–25 unit plan is $49 a month when billed yearly. A 30-day trial is available, and a valid credit card is required; users must cancel before it ends to avoid charges.
SpotHOA
SpotHOA is software for small, self-managed homeowners associations that brings dues, documents, violations, meetings, and votes together. Boards can collect card and ACH dues through Stripe Connect Standard or record check and cash payments. Dues, votes, and violations are stored as permanent, timestamped ledger events. The document vault organizes CC&Rs, bylaws, meeting minutes, and financials with tags, categories, and role-based access. Free and Pro users can export ledger, document vault, member, and meeting records as CSV and PDF. The Free plan supports up to 50 active units, 500 MB of document storage, and 1,000 emails per month. Pro costs $29/mo and supports up to 100 active units, 10 GB of storage, and 10,000 emails per month, while adding AI paperwork, a Texas compliance pack, and priority email support. Version 1 supports only US-based HOAs. The web app can be installed on Android, iPhone, or iPad home screens, but there is no mobile app.
