In their own words

Planellio

Planellio is web-based event business management software connecting bookings, clients, staff, assets, finance, and operations. It is designed for DJs, photo booth businesses, event hire teams, wedding suppliers, venue-led businesses, and multi-user event operations. Teams can track enquiries and leads, prepare quotes, proposals, and contracts, manage client records, and offer self-service bookings with live availability and pricing. A branded client portal supports planning tasks, payments, questionnaires, music requests, and photo booth selections. The platform also lists a venue calendar, space booking, staff scheduling, and event-day tools. Professional and Business plans include staff portals, job assignments, timesheets, and staff invoice workflows. Business adds a read-only bookings API with scoped access keys; Zapier-compatible polling is also listed. Connections include Stripe, Square, PayPal, GoCardless, Xero, QuickBooks, Zoom, Twilio, WhatsApp, Microsoft, Google, and TemplatesBooth. Every plan has a 30-day free trial, after which monthly billing begins automatically unless cancelled beforehand. Starter costs £29 a month. Planellio has no free plan and is headquartered in London, England, United Kingdom.

VenueArc

VenueArc brings venue bookings, event planning, and community engagement into one management platform. Its core tools cover a shared calendar, client records, contracts, document storage, payment tracking, income statements, and reporting. The calendar shows real-time availability and supports holds and recurring bookings, while booking workflows can flag conflicts, route requests for approval, and send confirmations after approval. Integrations include Ticketmaster, Tessitura, Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, payment processors, email and calendar sync, webhooks, and API. VenueArc works with existing ticketing platforms rather than replacing them. It runs on Microsoft Azure and lists role-based access, encryption at rest and in transit, activity logs, backups, and recovery protocols; its security description does not name a specific certification. The free Starter plan costs nothing and covers one facility. The product is intended for houses of worship, community theatres, and parks and recreation organizations, including those managing multiple facilities.
