In their own words

Reconcile.ly

Reconcile.ly syncs Shopify orders, payments, refunds, fees, and payouts with Xero or QuickBooks Online for ecommerce accounting and reconciliation. It can consolidate payout orders into one invoice that matches a bank deposit, and supports invoice mapping, tax-inclusive and tax-exclusive sales, refunds, gift cards, and gateway fees. Sync timing depends on the plan: Starter is daily, Standard hourly, and Pro and Unlimited real time. Starter costs $9 a month for 100 transactions; Standard is $29 a month for 400; Pro is $49 a month for 800; and Unlimited is $99 a month with unlimited transactions. Standard adds stock and inventory and contact syncing. Pro includes multicurrency support, transaction grouping, and sending orders by tag; Unlimited adds COGS reconciliation, summarized COGS invoices, gateway fee deductions, and advanced logic. The web service has no free plan but offers a free trial. Pro and Unlimited include multicurrency; Standard excludes it. Reconcile.ly is headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Settler

Settler is API-first financial reconciliation software that turns transaction flows into repeatable runs, explainable exceptions, and replayable evidence. Its rules-as-code engine applies configurable policies and field-level tolerances so the same inputs produce consistent results. Runs can generate linked-hash manifests, provenance chains, structured evidence, and audit export bundles. Exception records include deterministic context and operator decisions; AI assistance is advisory, with people retaining final authority. Listed adapters include Stripe, PayPal, Square, Shopify, QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, SAP, Plaid, TrueLayer, and Chargebee, with 14 more stated on the page. The API supports tenant-scoped runs, evidence retrieval, replay, and health checks. Settler can be self-hosted with Docker Compose or Kubernetes, and its self-hosted mode has no telemetry by default and uses the Apache 2.0 license. Open Source is free and limited to 10,000 monthly reconciliations; Cloud API costs $99 a month and Managed Operations costs $399 a month. Settler says it is not a compliance certification.
