In their own words
Resos
Resos is commission-free reservation and table-management software for restaurants, cafés, bars and pubs. Restaurants can add a booking link or widget to a website and social media without coding, while guests can book through Google Search, Maps or Assistant with availability synced automatically. A visual planner displays tables and occupancy, and automatic customer profiles support tailored service. Booking reminders can go out by SMS and email. Integrations named by Resos include Stripe, Trustpilot and Facebook; Zapier can support custom connections, and a developer API is available. Resos says guest data is stored on an encrypted platform, connections use SSL, and the service is GDPR-compliant. Guest and booking data can be exported to CSV on demand. The free plan includes 25 bookings per month and personal support, but excludes add-ons. Paid plans start at €23/mo (annual), and the pricing page lists a 90-day money-back guarantee on paid plans. Reserve with Google is a paid add-on for paid subscribers, with availability dependent on country.
Wix
Wix is a website creation platform that also offers domain registration and business solutions. It includes an AI site builder, blogging, full e-commerce, and hosting. The free plan costs nothing and provides reliable web hosting, a drag-and-drop editor, no-code design features, and templates. The platform includes an App Market with more than 800 web apps, along with code development tools, multilingual sites, collaborator roles, accessibility tools, memberships, and a branded app builder. Its SEO tools include server-side rendering, structured data, redirects, image optimization, SEO APIs, and integrations such as Google Search Console and Semrush. Paid plans start at 17 /mo. Named plans range from Light, with 2 GB storage and 2 collaborators, to Business Elite, with unlimited storage and 100 collaborators. Wix was founded in 2006 and is headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel. Its mobile app for iPhone and Android supports website management.
