In their own words
TuitionDesk
TuitionDesk is a cloud-based tuition operating system for tutors, coaching centres and institutes with multiple branches. It manages students, batches, fees and installments, attendance, schedules, homework, tests, progress, parent portal access and reports. Its permanent Free plan supports up to 10 students and unlimited batches, with AI features credit-gated. Higher plans raise student limits, and Enterprise offers unlimited students and branches. Aiyan provides fee intelligence, teacher insights, in-app help, optional parent features and AI-assisted centre setup, with capabilities depending on plan. Named integrations include Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, Razorpay and Stripe. Enterprise integrations such as APIs, webhooks, SSO and custom connectors require additional paid scoping, and compatibility must be confirmed. TuitionDesk says student and parent contact details are not sent to AI services and account data is not used to train AI models. It lists Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, web and Windows platforms. Email and web push notifications are described as free and unlimited; WhatsApp notifications are available on every plan when enabled in Settings. Paid plans start at ₹499 per month.
Tutorbase
Tutorbase is cloud-based software for tutoring businesses and educational organizations. It combines scheduling, lesson management, billing, invoicing, payment tracking, CRM, lead capture, reporting, payroll and multi-location support. Its calendar includes recurring and group lessons, trial lessons, room management, teacher availability and attendance tracking. Billing tools cover automated invoices, packages, prepaid or postpaid billing, flexible pricing, cancellation fees and multiple payment methods. Students can self-book; the service also supports online payments and two-way calendar sync, with WhatsApp and Google Calendar Sync listed as integrations. The Free Core plan has no monthly subscription and includes all features without feature restrictions; invoicing through the system incurs a 1% fee. Payment processing charges for cards and bank transfers come from the payment provider, not Tutorbase. Tutorbase is available on Android, iOS and the web. The company says onboarding includes three weeks of support, data migration, individual calls, staff training and same-day responses. It also describes HTTPS connections using TLS 1.2 or higher, encryption at rest for its primary database, and role-based access controls.
