UserTesting
UserTesting is a video-first platform for collecting feedback from people on ideas, designs, prototypes, websites, apps, and campaigns at any stage before or after launch. Its AI analysis brings together video, text, and behavioral data to identify themes and patterns. Teams can recruit participants for moderated or unmoderated sessions, and test mobile apps on iOS and Android phones and tablets. The Advanced plan includes surveys, interaction and think-out-loud tests, and moderated Live Conversation sessions. Ultimate adds AI test creation and analysis, an Insights Hub, card sorting, tree testing, and custom audiences; Ultimate+ adds a Figma plugin, custom insights services, and Premier Support+. Listed integrations include Figma, Jira, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Miro, Canva, Qualtrics, Contentsquare, and FullStory. A Results API v2 provides access to QXscores, session data, videos, and transcripts, alongside legacy API v1 endpoints. UserTesting is paid, has no free plan, and offers a free trial. Pricing is customized by users, types, and features, so customers must request a quote.
VideoAsk
VideoAsk is a web-based tool for interactive video conversations and forms. Creators can ask open-ended questions and receive video, audio or text responses, then reply through the service for a continuing two-way exchange. Multi-step videoasks and conditional logic can send respondents to different steps or webpages. The product describes uses including lead qualification, candidate recruiting and testimonial collection. Each step can last up to five minutes; paid plans can permit video or audio answers up to that length. Recording and uploading consume processing minutes, while playback is unlimited and unused minutes do not roll over. After the processing allowance is exceeded, respondents may still submit media, but creators cannot view it until upgrading or the next billing cycle. Integrations include calendars, Zendesk and Zapier workflows with Slack, HubSpot, Airtable and Google Drive. Data is stored with AWS and encrypted in transit and at rest. VideoAsk has web, iOS and Android apps, although the Android app can reply but cannot build or edit forms.
