Coinbase Wallet

What it is
Coinbase Wallet is a free app for trading, earning, sending, discovering opportunities and chatting with friends. Private keys stay on the user's device, and Coinbase cannot access tokens or NFTs without the recovery phrase. A Coinbase account is not required. The wallet is available on iOS, Android, web and as a Chrome extension; its web experience can create smart wallets with passkeys without an app, extension or download. Supported wallet types cover EVM-compatible networks, Solana and Bitcoin, with Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon and Zora among the preconfigured networks. It supports thousands of assets, including ERC-20 tokens and stablecoins such as USDC. In-app DEX conversions cover supported networks including Base, Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism and Solana. Crypto purchases are available in over 130 countries through a Coinbase account or third-party providers. Security controls include biometrics, passwords, security locks, Ledger support, malicious-asset hiding and dapp-permission management. Network fees and third-party purchase fees may apply. The classic wallet closes on August 15, 2026, and several previously supported networks will no longer be available.
