What it is

ElephantDrive is a paid file backup service for computers, mobile devices, and servers. It supports web, Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android, with mobile apps for iOS and Android. Once set up, backups run automatically, with notifications for new files; users can restore files and use ransomware protection. Data is encrypted with AES 256-bit encryption over an SSL-secured channel. ElephantDrive integrates natively with leading NAS devices, and shared folders let colleagues edit or add files. Plan limits vary: Solo has three sub-accounts, Family has ten, and Business has 25. Monthly plans cost $10 a month for Solo, $20 a month for Family, and $40 a month for Business. Annual plans cost $100 a year, $200 a year, and $400 a year, respectively. Included and maximum storage and maximum file sizes also differ by plan; Business has unlimited maximum storage and allows files up to 200 GB. There is no free plan. ElephantDrive was founded in 2006 and is headquartered in Los Angeles, California.
