What it is

Strike API is a paid, HTTP-based REST-style API for programmatic cash and bitcoin transactions. It works across the Bitcoin blockchain and Lightning Network, with cash payouts to external bank accounts. Businesses can send, receive, exchange, and direct payments, create invoices or receive requests, and credit incoming funds to a Strike account as cash or bitcoin. Checkout options include Lightning invoices, on-chain Bitcoin addresses, QR codes, and receive requests; settlement can be cash, bitcoin, or both. OAuth Connect lets users authorize third-party applications within granted permissions and scopes, while webhooks notify applications about supported events. Authentication uses a non-expiring account API key or an expiring OAuth access token. The browser API Explorer can send requests and supplies cURL, Go, Python, and Node.js examples. A sandbox uses simulated balances and testnet bitcoin. Business accounts, regional availability, and verification are required. Pricing is on request.
