What it is
AkitaBox is a facilities lifecycle management platform for building owners, operators and service organizations. It brings together lifecycle replacement planning, capital forecasting, expense reporting, scenario modeling, work orders and asset inventories. Its Pulse suite combines asset management, preventive maintenance, occupant experience, inspections, capital management, cost estimation, FCA Insights and AkitaBox Connect. The platform provides digital floor plans, location-based asset mapping, document management, service requests and maintenance schedules. Floor plans can be uploaded as PDF, JPG or PNG; teams can also work in list view without them. The Capture mobile app runs on iOS and Android, works offline and synchronizes when connectivity returns. Optional integrations include Autodesk Revit for updated floor plans and Procore for associating files with buildings, rooms or assets. AkitaBox says it can connect to existing systems that support integration. It runs on web, iOS and Android. Pricing is on request; there is no free plan, but a free trial is available.
